I never played a true blue MMORPG before; I just don’t like the idea of paying a subscription for a single game. However, if I were to play one in 2021, it would be this Final Fantasy XIV that everyone raves about. I hear the best of Final Fantasy can be found here including the best music, stories, characters, and even artwork. All of that isn’t enough to sway me though. I’ll just be happy for all the folks who’ve been waiting for Endwalker to arrive.

Star Wars Squadrons looks very pretty. In fact, I can emphatically say that with many of Electronic Art’s published Star Wars titles. Fortunately for fans, this game looks to be a solid game as well. I’m happy for them. I know it hasn’t been the smoothest ride with EA at the helm of console/PC Star Wars games, but maybe they’re turning it around

Catherine: Full Body on Switch is the latest option for me to finally check out what that game is all about. It caught my eye during the PlayStation 3 days, and then again when the Full Body version came out for the PlayStation 4. As a fan of Persona and Atlus, I was curious. I wasn’t going to spend over $20 on it though.

The masters of minigame collections is back with Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics. Nobody gets people as excited for a collection of games like Nintendo. Even I’m curious enough to consider purchasing this digitally for my Nintendo Switch. It could be fun during trips or short power outages? Who knows, maybe I’ll finally learn how to play Backgammon through this. I know I can just pick up and iPad app but that option is too easy and I want to spend money for that Nintendo polish.

A new Half-Life game is upon us and the only way to experience Half-Life: Alyx is through the use of a PC virtual reality headset. I don’t have a PC headset and I don’t see myself getting one any time soon. In all honesty, I believe the only way that I will ever experience Half-Life: Alyx is through a PlayStation 5 port through PSVR or something along those lines.

I have little to no knowledge of GranBlue Fantasy Versus. All I know is that it’s another property that the talented team at Arc System Works have been asked to work on and that’s enough for me to pay attention to it. They did a fantastic job with DragonBall FighterZ and it looks like they did GranBlue Fantasy justice as well.

Kentucky Route Zero looks so stylish. I just want to play it for style alone. I heard it was good but I have no idea if it’s my kind of game. People I respect seem to enjoy it which has me interested but I don’t know if I can put this ahead of bangers like Return of the Obra Dinn.

Disco Elysium has its passionate fans and many games people whom I respect speak highly of it but I don’t have the desire to check it out. Maybe when it’s dirt cheap? Some have said it’s the game The Outer Worlds tried to be when it came down to player choice but I just don’t have the desire to delve deep into a exposition heavy game at the moment.
