I think I played a Sega Genesis or NES version of Battletoads via emulation for a whole of 5 minutes during the mid-1990s. I am a fan of beat’em ups, but these games were a noticeable step down compared to the likes of Final Fight? They just were not my thing. This new one doesn’t look like a winner to me either. If I were looking to get my beat’em up fix, I still have to finish Streets of Rage 4.
