I never played a Microsoft Flight Simulator game. The only flight simulators that I ever played were the Comanche and AH-64 Longbow games of the mid-1990s. I didn’t stick with those games for very long though. I tried several times to learn them, but I was too young and impatient to actually learn how to fly. They were also quite boring. I was looking for a Mechwarrior equivalent and those games weren’t it. Microsoft’s return to Flight Simulator looks very impressive and thanks to Game Pass, I might give it a go? I don’t know how much joy I will derive from it, but flying in a virtual plane during this pandemic doesn’t sound like the worst idea.
