I played Xenoblade Chronicles on the New Nintendo 3DS. It’s probably not the ideal way to play that game but I didn’t like it for technical reasons. I disliked it for being a slog. I disliked it for being repetitive and not developing the story or characters in interesting ways. Needless to say, this Definitive Edition release for the Nintendo Switch will not be making its way towards me.
