Gears 5 is almost here. It still looks like a Gears of War game and I’m sure it still plays like a Gears of War game but I’m also certain that they’ve iterated to the point that my 2006 self would have been blown away by the shifts and changes. It’s kinda nuts that Microsoft’s second blockbuster shooter franchise is on its “fifth” installment already. Looking forward to playing it via Game Pass
