I don’t think I’ve ever played Doom or Doom II to completion without cheat codes. I also never played those games with the soundtrack. Blasphemous admissions on my part but it’s all true. My SoundBlaster was incorrectly configured and I was ignorant of the fact that Doom had music of any kind until I started seeing OC Remixes of music. One of these days I will sit down and play through those games properly. I’ll steer clear of those recent re-releases by Bethesda though. I hear they’re poor.
