There was a time where a new Battlefield game would have excited me but ever since EA and DICE moved the series back to WWI and WWII, I’ve largely ignored the game. Part of it is the setting but a lot of it has to do with these titles’ performance on the PlayStation 4 Pro. I find it very jarring to move from a rock solid 60 FPS of Overwatch back to the iffy performance of a Battlefield game. At this rate, I’ll be picking up a new Battlefield game once the PlayStation 5 releases.
