I tried the Star Wars: Battlefront beta back in 2015 and came away thinking it lacked the depth of Battlefield. I passed on it and DICE’s next game, Battlefield 1 as well. Add Star Wars: Battlefront II to that list of DICE games that I’ve passed on since Battlefield 4 because I have zero interest in what they are doing with that property. Their games continue to look exceptionally pretty but give me a Battlefield title in the vein of Battlefield 2142 and I’ll be there.
