Team Ninja’s Ni Oh sounds like my kind of jam. I should have taken opportunities to try it for myself but for one reason or another, I never found the time to try one of their many limited time betas. It sounds brutal but fair and unlike other games in this vein, they gave the user the ability to choose between favoring performance (60 FPS) or image quality (30 FPS) on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro. Allowing users to focus on gameplay and performance is a very appealing feature that I wished From Software offered. The notion that From Software values gameplay so highly when their games frequently stumble down below 30 FPS on consoles was always baffling to me. Unfortunately, like with the numerous betas, I have other games lined up and probably won’t be getting around to it any time soon.
