Mighty No. 9’s Kickstarter started out with such a feel good story but if you look at the launch next week, that sentiment is barely registering. Countless delays and public relations missteps have soured a lot of people on Keiji Inafune’s projects but I’m not one of them. I’m looking forward to getting what I backed on and if it turns out to be a dud, I’ll take it as a learning experience and move on. I will admit that I haven’t backed any other crowd funding project that wasn’t launched by Double Fine Productions. Simply put: my confidence in the crowd funding video games waned and I don’t know if it will ever be restored.
