Week of Jan. 2 – 8 Round-up

Hello and welcome to our new weekly round-ups! These round-ups will coincide with the weekly flyer cycle.

This week’s deals are remnants of Boxing Week and thus unspectacular. Hopefully there are better deals next week but I’m not holding my breath!

Notice Some Changes?

If you haven’t been here since Boxing Day, you’ll notice this site filled out a bit. During the course of the fit up, the decision was made to stop forcing links to open in new windows/tabs.

There were two reasons for this:

1. It was rude of us to assume that people wanted this and it’s apparently a web design no-no. We didn’t have a good reason not to abide by conventions.
2. The website was misbehaving on mobile and in order to maintain a consistent user experience, we had to stop links from opening in new tabs.

That’s it. Nothing too fancy. Hope everyone enjoys the site!

About the Banner

This week’s banner is from Dragon Age: Inquisition. None of us here at GameDealsCanada played it yet but we hear it’s quite good.
